This time of year sees us all trying to burn off that winter cheer. High intensity interval training is proven to be the best type of exercise to burn through those stubborn fat stores. There are a few ways that high intensity interval training can be performed and Tabata is a fantastic option.
Tabata consists of 8 20sec intervals performed over a 4 min round. The way it works is you work hard for 20sec than rest for 10sec for 4 minutes. 20 sec on, 10 sec off x 8 rounds = 4 min rounds
