TRAINS BSc Clinical Exercise Physiology, Cert III and IV in Fitness, Working with Children Check
LOVES Hailing from Tasmania, I was influenced by the AFL culture from a young age. My previous background was AFL and Powerlifting, playing club AFL as well as competing in a couple novice Powerlifting competitions in 2019-2020.
Now, my current sport interests lie in learning Brazilian Jujitsu and Olympic Lifting. I also enjoy recreational hikes on the weekend and Self-Development.
EXPERIENCE Over 360+ hours of helping people with pain, injuries and chronic health conditions through exercise. From a 14-year-old boy with Autism and Aspergers to a 97-year-old man with osteoarthritis, hypertension and left retinal artery thrombosis – I’ve guided people of all different ages and conditions to be better than they were last week through physical activity.
My coaching experience lies in several uniquely different roles. From coaching groups of kids at AFL Auskick to helping busy mum’s lose weight and get fitter at F45 and Bodyfit Training.
From supporting young men build habits and persistence in the gym that transfers over to the rest of their lifestyle, to assisting middle-aged adults feel stronger and have more energy in their forties, fifties and sixties than they did in their thirties.

TRAINS Specialising in putting together the best of what you need to fulfil your goals.
Tell me the skills you want to develop and the goals you want to hit, and that’s the direction we’ll go.
LOVES Like my training style, my interests are many! Podcasts and learning new things. All things human movement and psychology. I love getting outside and exploring. Getting out on the ocean with the occasional dive. Exploring inner worlds with meditation, and generally doing my best at improving the meat vehicle I’ve been given.
EXPERIENCE
5 and a half years as a professional coach, 17 years self exploration of different training methods with me as the test subject. I subscribe to being a training generalist and think the human body should be capable of more than only moving heavy things (although we certainly want that ability too!). My training is what I consider a holistic blend of mobility, strength, power and grace. We want to move pain free and with fluidity using the best tools for the job at hand.

LOVES Calisthenics and staying strong. Travel, food and enjoying family and friend’s company.
EXPERIENCE
I have always been interested in fitness, health and well being and in 2008 decided to turn my passion into my career qualifying to become a personal trainer and fitness instructor.
Over this time I have owned and managed gyms and I have seen a lot of fad exercise programs come and go but the essentials remain the same. Quality movement, a good program and mind body connection. Pilates is a core element to correct exercise movement and teaches the body to be in control.
I train in a range of modalities and find reformer pilates a compliment to these to help re-balance muscle imbalances and gain core strength and flexibility. Pilates develops the deep muscles of the back and abdomen to support your spine in ways other exercise simply can’t do. That’s the reason I opened Elite Pilates HQ as I know the benefits that can be gained by including reformer pilates into a good exercise program.

The health and fitness industry is one of the hardest yet rewarding industries you could ever work in. I have been in the industry for 8 years now and have witnessed the high’s and low’s, and the exercise fads to go with it. But I remain as dedicated and passionate about the industry as i did 8 years ago.
There aren’t many more things more rewarding and satisfying then helping people achieve their health and fitness goals.

LOVES Focusing on overall health and wellbeing
Experience
I have been lucky enough to be in the fitness industry for over 16 years now. During this time I have seen many fads come and go but the core fitness essentials remain the same for results to occur. Consistency, intensity, specific programming, measuring results and performance, nutrition, mobility, recovery and fun all need to be adhered to to achieve overall health and wellbeing.
As a young man the dream of becoming an elite athlete and a professional footballer looked likely. Unfortunately when I was in the final year of high school I had a major knee injury which required a reconstruction and a major clean up. After extensive rehab I could not get it strong or stable enough for the riggers of Rugby League so I had to give it away, I was devastated, although this has turned out to be a blessing as it gave me an opportunity to do work experience with the Broncos which kick started my fitness career.
